William "Bill" P. Anselme Jr., 64, of Ottawa, Il, went to be with the Lord while surrounded by his loving family, Thursday, October 27, 2011 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, October 31, 2011 at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Reverend Jules Adator officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 at a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Bill was born October 13, 1947 to William P. Sr. and Mary A. (Halterman) Anselme in Ottawa, IL. He married Linda Hannigan October 4, 1969 at St. Columba Church in Ottawa, IL. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1972.He was a volunteer member of the Ottawa Rescue Squad for 15 years and also served as the Past Commander of the American Legion Unit #33. Bill is survived by his wife, Linda; a son, Bill (Leticia) Anselme of Channahon, IL; a daughter, Nina (Todd) Fleming of Ottawa; and three grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, and Ethan Fleming. His parents precede him in death.
