OTTAWA - Victoria Denbo, 96, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday morning, April 27, 2011 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30th at St. Francis of Assisi Church with Monsignor Jerome Ham celebrating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tiffany and Tenile Denbo, Spencer Beckman, Justen and Thomas Govero III, Alije Fejzoski, and Drew and Tyler Hodges. Gladfelter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Victoria was born August 19, 1914 in Ottawa, a daughter of Michael and Mary (Clark) Kerrigan, Sr. She married Thomas Govero August 31, 1940 in Ottawa. He preceded her in death November 25, 1944. She later married Paul Denbo May 14, 1947 in Hernando, Mississippi. He preceded her in death December 17, 1998. Victoria is survived by her children, Thomas (Ginger) Govero and Joe Denbo, both of Ottawa and Peggy (Stephen) Beckman of Chantilly, VA; her grandchildren, John and Thomas Govero III, Paula Fejzoski, Jody Hodges, Tiffany, Tenile and Baleigh Denbo, Jaeger Vega, and Spencer Stephen and Chanda Victoria Beckman; nine great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Michael Jr. and William Kerrigan and two infant brothers; seven sisters, Delia Stoudt, Annabelle Gingher, Mary Fitzpatrick, Rose Jessen, Catherine Katrein, Julia Anselme, and her twin sister, Veronica Kuhn. Victoria was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She was an avid White Sox fan. Her most cherished times were those spent with her children and grandchildren.
