Stacy (Zimmerman) Beard, age 45, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Monday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Pastor John Pickens officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date.
Stacy was born May 2, 1971, in Ottawa, the daughter of Waldo S. and Cindy (McMullen) Zimmerman. She married David Beard in Ottawa. Surviving are her former husband, David Beard of Ottawa; mother, Cindy Cummings of Ottawa; daughters, Haley (Levi) Barnes of Vail, AZ, Megan Beard (Riley Byrne) of Peoria, IL and Cassidy Beard of Ottawa; sisters, Jacki (Tom) Salzman of Ottawa and Amy (David) McIntire of Granville, IL; grandchildren, Kenadie and Kyler Barnes and Karrington and Eloise Byrne; nieces Lindsey and Sarah; nephews, Austin and Justin; and a special friend Archie Green. She was preceded in death by her father and step-father, Ron Cummings, and a sister, Jamie Zimmerman.
Stacy was a devoted mother and grandmother. In her spare time she enjoyed watching soap operas and reality T.V. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
