Sharon (Mills) Gretencord

OTTAWA – Sharon Gretencord, 55, of Wallace Township, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 27, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mike Shepherd, Curtis Gretencord, Dave Tiffin, Andy Dergance, Darryn Downey and Terry Woodyer.
Sharon was born February 10, 1958 in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of Norman and Wilma Mills. She married LaVerne Gretencord September 12, 2003 in Ottawa. Sharon is survived by her husband, LaVerne, of Wallace Township; her children, Mike Shepherd of Sandwich and Tim Shepherd of Florida; her brother, Tom Mills of Washington State; and her grandchildren, Makaela Shepherd of Streator, Shane Shepherd of Indiana, and T.J. Shepherd of Aurora. Her parents and one brother, Rick Mills, preceded her in death.
Sharon was a member of the Princeton Hog Chapter and enjoyed her time spent riding her motorcycle. Above all she cherished her time spent with her family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society for Brain Cancer Research.
