Ruby Jane Wilson, 77, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Funeral services honoring her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Rev. David Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Ruby Jane Wilson was born November 30, 1930 at Little Cake, Kentucky, a daughter of Alvin and Betty (Ford) Williams. She married Olie Lee Wilson, and spent her later years with Mariano Pete Padilla. They both preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Roger (Jacky) Wilson of Dayton, Kenny Wilson of Marseilles, Michael Wilson of Dayton, Beverly (Robert) Thompson, Lisa Williams and Maria Padilla all of Ottawa; and brothers and sisters. She also leaves grandchildren, Amanda Shay Rexroat, Bobby Thompson, Delaney Bishop, Ryan Wilson, Bret and Steven Bailey, Shannon (David) Beckcom, Jimmy Wilson and Desirae Gedye; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ryli, "Lil Man (David), Cameron, Chanden, Brooklyn, Brandon, Kendall and Shawn. She was preceded indeath by a son, Big Bobby Wilson and three grandchildren, Dawn Marie and David Martin Thompson and Lil Bobby Wilson. Pallbearers will be Bobby Thompson, Bret and Steven Bailey, Amanda Rexroat, Ryan and Jimmy Wilson. Ruby was an avid fan of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. She loved to cook, but most of all enjoyed her family, particularly her grandchildren and spending time with all at family gatherings.
