OTTAWA – Rosemary A. Dresbach, age 80, of Ottawa passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015, surrounded by her family, at Pleasant View.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marseilles, IL with Father Tony Ego officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Vincent’s Cemetery in LaSalle, IL. Visitation will be 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at church.
Rosemary was born October 24, 1935 in Peoria, IL, a daughter of Frank and Helen (Pocius) Ksycki. She married Donald Dresbach on October 24, 1959 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death January 28, 2001. She is survived by two sons, Frank (Kelly) Dresbach of Seattle, WA and Joseph (Lisa) Dresbach of Ottawa, IL; two daughters, Anne (Jeff) Houk of Ottawa, IL and Cece Cormier of Las Vegas, NV; five sisters, Sister Ruth Ksycki of Rock Island, IL, Adele Arnold of Peoria, IL, Helen Johnson of Eureka, IL, Anne (Ken) Ensor of Chillicothe, IL, and Marge Maroon of West Peoria, IL; one brother, Jim (Pat) Ksycki of .Washington, IL; three grandchildren, Zander Houk, Dawson Dresbach, and Arik Miskell.
Rosemary was a member of the St. Mary’s Altar and Rosary Society of Peru where she also taught CCD for many years. She was also a volunteer for many years at the Red Cross.
