Robert Allen Richardson

Robert Allen Richardson, 76, died Wednesday, October 26, 2005, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. John Paul Robbins officiating followed with a flag folding. Cremation was accorded. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of services. Mr. Richardson was born May 18, 1929 in River Falls, Wisc., to Warren William and Louise (Dodge) Richardson. He married Lavonne Bartels July 12, 1952 in Mason City, Iowa. She died August 14, 2005. He was retired from Wedron Silica and later was a truck driver. He served in the Korean War in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by five daughters, Donna (James) Puckett of Ventura, Calif., Cheryl (Steve) Miller of Ottawa, Nancy (Robert) Harris of Wedron, Ill., Diane ("Ed") Bottoms of Ottawa and Mary (Ron) Doty of Streator, Ill.; a son Patrick (Amy) Richardson of Hudson, Wisc.; eighteen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren; a step-mother, Clarabelle Richardson of River Falls, Wisc.; and a brother William (Bette) of Breveard, NC. Memorials may be directed to the family.
