Robert J. Newton

Robert J. Newton, age 65, of Marseilles passed away February 10, 2022 at his home.

Per Rob's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.  Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Rob was born February 12, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Robert A. and Betty (Weingard) Newton.  He married Cecelia Grimes on October 20, 1983 in Dallas, Texas.  She preceded him in death in 2011.  Rob is survived by a son, Andrew Newton of Houston,TX; a sister, Jennifer Newton of Washington D.C.; and a niece, Abigail Agresta of Washington D.C.

Rob worked as the Director of Marketing for B&B Electronics until his retirement.  After retirement he found a love for curling and became a member of the Waltham Curling Club.  Rob had a passion for vintage race cars as well.  He loved his Cocker Spaniels and always had one until the passing of his last dog, Bentley, last year.  Rob will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
