Randy E. Mosell, Jr.

PERU – Randy E. Mosell, Jr, 34, of Peru, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014, at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Adamson officiating.  Burial will follow in Peru City Cemetery, Peru.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Daniel and Zack Mosell, Billy Cupples, Rick Nicholas, Carlos Frontany and Angel Santiago.  Honorary pallbearers will be Rich Mosell and Greg Smith.

Randy was born August 13, 1979 in Spring Valley, Illinois, the son of Randy and Patricia (Summers) Mosell.  He married Yoliveth Frontany-Diaz February 27, 2010 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Surviving are his wife, Yoliveth of Peru; his parents, Patricia Roumane and Randy Mosell, Sr., both of Granville; his children, Makayla, Sophia, and Briahnna Mosell, all of Peru and Kassidy and Kalleah Mosell of Purdy, MO; stepsons, Angel and Jean Santiago, both of Peru; a brother, Rich (Jodie) Mosell of Ottawa; a sister, Sheri (Greg) Smith of Granville; and his grandparents, Patricia and Edward Mosell of Streator.  He is also survived by his mother in-law, Hortensia Diaz and his brother in-law, Carlos Frontany as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rex and Leona Brown and John William Summers.

Randy attended the Faith Assembly of God Church in Peru.  He was a truck driver for Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc.  His special interests included riding motorcycles and working on cars.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
