Randy E. Mosell

Randy E. Mosell, age 63, of Granville, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26th at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Ottawa with Pastor Steve Adamson officiating.  Burial will follow in Peru City Cemetery.  Military rights will be accorded by the Ottawa American Legion Post 33 Veterans Honor Guard   Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Dalton and Greg Smith, Jean Santiago, Rafael Leon, Brian Carnes, and Daniel, Russell, and Rich Mosell.

Randy was born July 26, 1954 in Streator, the son of Edward and Patricia (Slattery) Mosell.  He married Patricia Summers February 17, 1979 in Berkley. MO.  Surviving are his former wife, Patricia Roumane; parents, Edward and Patricia Mosell of Streator; children, Sheri (Greg) Smith of Granville and Richard (Jodie) Mosell of Ottawa; a daughter-in-law, Yoliveth Frontany Mosell of Peru; grandchildren, Shaina, Amanda, Rich, Christian, Brittany, Zoey, Marissa, Zack, Cheyenne, Carly, Dalton, Gage, Angel, Jean, Sophia, Briahnna, MaKayla, Kassidy, and Kalleah; great grandchildren, Aayliah, Addison, Neveah, Jaylyn, Knoah, Bryson, Maliah, and Keegan; two brothers, Daniel Mosell of Iowa and Russell Mosell of Streator; and three sisters, Pam Mosell of Streator, Kathy (Jim) Sherwood of Tennessee, and Brenda (Bob) Stimpert of Streator.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, and one son, Randy Mosell Jr.

Randy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  In his leisure time Randy enjoyed fishing and playing the guitar. Memorials may be directed to the family.
