Phyllis Jeanne Sesker

Phyllis Jeanne Sesker, age 99, of Peru, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Phyllis was born July 2, 1925, in Sigourney, Iowa to Oliver and Gretchen (Himrod) Wickenkamp. She married Doyle M. Sesker on August 24, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Doyle preceded her in death November 8, 2000. Phyllis is survived by a sister, Sandra Jehle of Edmond, Oklahoma; and nieces, Kristin (Matt) Zurline of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Jennifer (Shawn) Callison of Edmond, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Gina Weissflog; and a sister, Geraldine Admire.

Phyllis worked as a secretary for her father in the trucking business most of her life. After retirement, she worked with her husband in his craft business. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Ottawa.

A private family gathering will be held and Phyllis will be buried at Oakwood Memorial Park.
