HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC – Peter VanTrigt, Jr., age 90, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Fraser Health Center in Hilton Head Island.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18 th at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery with the Reverend Kimberly Wood of the First Congregational United Church of Christ officiating. Gladfelter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Peter is survived by his wife, Janet VanTrigt of Hilton Head Island; and his children, Dr. and Mrs. Peter VanTrigt of Greensboro, NC and their children William, Loren, and Pierson VanTrigt; and Christine and Charles Barrilleaux of Tallahassee, FL and their children Philip and Peter Barrilleaux. He also leaves a sister, Kathleen Persons and a brother, William Vantrigt.
