Patricia Mae Boe

Patricia “Pat” Boe, age 85, of Ottawa, was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, October 2, 2022.

A funeral service honoring her life of faith will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 6th at Crossbridge Community Church with Pastor Sherry Stevenson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. Pallbearers will be Cory Boe, Austin Garde, Nate Hamblin, Troy Supple, Greg Jenkins and Grant Jenkins. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Jenkins. Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is honored to assist the Boe family.

Pat was born April 28, 1937 in Ottawa, Illinois, youngest daughter of Kenneth and Irene (Tucker) Jenkins. She took Archie Boe to be her husband on November 18, 1956 in Ottawa. Pat is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 65 years, Archie; her adoring children, Gail (Darwin) Garde of Huntington, IN, Susan (Jim) Corle of North Fort Myers, FL and Scott (Cheryl) Boe of Marseilles, IL. Also surviving are her precious grandchildren, Amanda (Nate) Hamblin, Nicole (Troy) Supple, Austin (Destinee) Garde, Bonnie (Brandon) Cecil, Cory Boe and Lexi Boe; and great-grandchildren Eli and Oliver Hamblin and Madison and Braylen Supple, Titus Garde and Blake Cecil. Pat also leaves her brothers, LeRoy (Bonnie) Jenkins of Ottawa, John Jenkins of Ottawa and Don (Sandy) Jenkins of DeKalb, IL; and a sister, Marlene Papineau of Las Cruces, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by a son, Craig Arthur Boe, a brother, Dewain Jenkins and a sister, Linda Janke.

Pat was a woman of great faith and active member of Crossbridge Community Church. She enjoyed participating in Red Hat Ladies, God’s Golden Girls, Mexican Domino and Bunco groups. Leisure time would often find her reading or working on a jigsaw puzzle. Pat dearly loved her family and cherished the time spent with them. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her loving family and many friends.
