Michele Ann Berggren-Goodlet

Michele Ann Berggren-Goodlet, 57, of Serena, passed away April 29th, 2024 in Ottawa, IL
surrounded by loving family and friends.

Michele was born in Sandwich, IL to Truman and Patricia Berggren on September 27th, 1966.
Michele graduated from Serena High School in 1984. Michele was employed at Elmhurst
Chicago Stone where she went on to work for 30 years. In 2021, Michele went on to work for
Republic Services. Michele had a passion for racing. The Grundy County Speedway became a second home to the Goodlet family. Michele began working out at the Speedway from a young age with her family and again returned years later. Michele's most enjoyable times were spent with friends made over the years. She was always grateful to have the friends that she did and considered them family. For anyone who knew Michele, you would know that these things meant the most to her- along with cows and spending time at the beach.

Michele is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Berggren. She is survived by her father,
Truman Berggren; three daughters, Brandy (Matthew) Dilbeck, Haley Goodlet, and Ashley
Goodlet; one sister, Kelly (Brian) Wasilewski; one brother Lee (Renae) Berggren; and four
nephews, Dalton (Darci) Huftel, Jarret Berggren, Jake (Sydnie) Berggren, and Jayce Berggren.

Visitation will be held at Gladfelter Funeral Home in Ottawa, IL on May 9th, 2024 from 3-7pm.
Funeral services will start immediately after. A private family burial will be held at Saint Columba Cemetery at a later date.
