Michael E. Fischer, 52, of Ottawa, died Monday, July 23rd at Community Hospital of Ottawa. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Gary Kistenfeger conducting the service. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Fischer was born October 19, 1954, in Ottawa to Warner "Todd" and Leona (Tucker) Fischer. He attended Ottawa Township High School and was formerly employed by Borg and Beck in Ottawa. He was a member of the men's auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign War, Post 2470. He is survived by his brother, Terry (Carole) Fischer of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Gary Kistenfeger, James Klingerman, Gary Dirker, Leon Morales, Derek Fessler and Don Dolatto.
