May Etta Bon Durant, age 92, of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Marseilles, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at Braden River Care Center in Bradenton.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Gladfelter Funeral Home is honored to assist the family.
May was born September 9, 1922 in Ohio County, Indiana, a daughter of Harry and Dora May (Beatty) Smith. She married Charles Bon Durant June 27, 1963 in Rising Sun, Indiana. He preceded her in death March 2, 2014. May is survived by her son from her first marriage, Gary L. (Sandy) Robinson of Ottawa, IL; step-children, Dianna (Bobby Joe) Keith of Rising Sun, IN and Terry Bon Durant of Longview, TX. She also leaves grandchildren, Jason and Nathan Robinson, Rusty, Robby, Ricky and Annie Jo Keith, Chuck, Joe and Todd Bon Durant; and eighteen Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lloyd and Carroll Smith.
