Maryanne Piltaver, 67, of LaSalle, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2011 at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Fr. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Maryanne was born June 3, 1944 in Princeton, Illinois, a daughter of Raymond and Charlotte (Kaslowski) Miller. Maryanne is survived by two daughters, June (Jeff) Davies of Round Rock, TX, Yvette Galetti of Peru, IL; one son, Robert Piltaver Jr. of Naperville, IL; four grandchildren, Jason (Meghan) Davies, James Davies III, and James and Kassi Galetti; three great grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, and Raegan Davies; two sisters, Patricia (Frank) Casteneda of Spring Valley, IL, and Rebecca Coutts of Omaha, Nebraska. She is preceded in death by her mother and her special friend, Bradley Federow. Maryanne received her nursing degree in 1976 from Illinois Valley Community College. Maryanne worked in the healthcare field for over 35 years, 20 of them served at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center as Nursing Supervisor. Some of Maryanne's hobbies included gardening and needlepoint. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
