OTTAWA - Marion L. Rabatine, age 70, of Ottawa, passed away at 7:32 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Provena St. Joseph's Medical Center, Joliet. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Pastor Polly Klimson officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jane Jobst, Debi and Kenneth Fessler, Ray Meglan, Steve Wilson and Philip Harkins. Marion was born April 26, 1939 at Ottawa, Illinois, a daughter of Harold and Mary (Morris) Haff. She married Robert Rabatine in 1988 in Indiana. He preceded her in death May 13, 1998. She is survived by a special friend, T.J. Meglan of Ottawa and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Harold "Sonny" and two sisters, Darlene and Ellen. Marion was a member of First United Methodist Church. She retired from Magic Muffler. Marion was a past member of the Ottawa Moose Lodge. She enjoyed embroidery, puzzles and playing shuffleboard in her leisure time. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
