Marilyn K. (Davis) Thomas, age 58, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Oakwood Memorial Park with Rev. Lisa Hadler officiating. There will be no visitation. Marilyn was born September 7, 1950 at Ottawa, Illinois, a daughter of Garner and Gladys (Zimmerman) Davis. She is survived by three brothers, Carlton Davis of Omaha, Nebraska, Larry Davis of Bend, Oregon and Clair Davis of Streator; five sisters, Doris Meyer, Betty Wunder and Jean Smith all of Ottawa, Martha Spicer of Wautauga, Texas and Loretta Feldman of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Wayne and Lloyd Davis. Marilyn had been employed at Owens Manufacturing in Streator. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
