OTTAWA - Marian M.V. Sibert, 60, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at St. Columba Church with Reverend David M. Kipfer celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday with prayers at 2:00 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be James Sibert III, Kyle J. Sibert, Jay Syverson, Andy Sibert, Bill McGeorge, Joe Sibert, Ray Sibert Jr. and Gary Fogarty. Marian was born April 4, 1951 in Ottawa, a daughter of Luis M. and Leonor M. (Madrid) Jimenez Sr. She married James Sibert Sr. on November 9, 1968 at St. Columba Church. She is survived by her husband, James Sr. of Ottawa; her children, James E. (Gretchen) Sibert Jr. of Seneca, Tito Sibert of Ottawa, Michael (Donna) Sibert of Ottawa and Jeremy (Jennifer) Sibert Sr. of Streator; her grandchildren, Jay and Sara Syverson, Jessica Sibert, James (Marissa) Sibert III, Jaycie Sibert, Kyle Sibert, Hunter Scott, Sabrina Sibert, Samantha Sibert, Scott Sibert, Jeremy Sibert Jr., Arielle Sibert, Reina Sibert and Mia Sibert; her great grandson, Blake Sibert; a brother, Luis (Wendy) Jimenez Jr. of Dayton; sisters Blanca "Gloria" (Don) Holcomb of Ottawa, Yolanda "Londy" (Jerry) Gibson of Ottawa, Alicia Arrellano (Gary) Facio of Mendota, Rose "Mona" (Andy) Castillo of Ottawa, and Tammy (Troy) Hill of Ottawa; and her aunt and uncle, Arturo and Maria Velasco of Ottawa. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Her parents and one sister, Juanita Telfer, preceded her in death. Marian was a member of St. Columba Church. She was a retired dispatcher for the Ottawa Police and Fire Departments. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and niece and cherished time spent with her family. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
