Margaret Ann Marshall

Margaret Ann Marshall, 74, of Serena, died Saturday, February 17, 2007, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. John G. Waugh officiating. Burial will be in West Serena Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Marshall was born February 6, 1933, in Marseilles, to Harry and Julia (Fenoglio) Lamb. She married Joseph A. Marshall on June 14, 1952. She was employed by the Marseilles Telephone Co., Sear Roebuck for ten years and at Wal-Mart the last 21 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wedron. She is survived by her husband; four sons, Joseph of Serena, John (Ronda) and Jeffrey both of Spring Valley and George (Pat) of Petersburg, Ill.; three daughters, Kathleen Marshall of Serena, Elizabeth Marshall, and Patricia Marshall-Ponce both of Spring Valley; seven grandchildren, Mari Ponce, Robert, Eric and Tonya Fitzpatrick, Johnny and Lynette Marshall and David Marshall; one great granddaughter; a sister, Jean Marie (James) Hanlon of Marseilles; a brother, John Edward (Wilma) LaCroix of Spaulding, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews. Her parents preceded her in death. Pallbearers will be her children, Joseph, John, Jeffrey and George Marshall; nephews, William and John Wilson, Aaron Angelico; and cousin Don Nelson. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Johnny and David Marshall. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
