Marcia Ann (Baker) Burke

Marcia A. Burke, age 81, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

Memorial Mass will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28th at St. Columba Church with Rev. David Kipfer officiating.  Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery.  Gladfelter Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Marcia was born July 8, 1961 in Ottawa, Illinois, the daughter of Everett and Helen (Briel) Baker.  She married Donald F. Burke on April 15, 1961 in Ottawa.  He passed away October 18, 2008.  She is survived by her daughters; Theresa “Tess” and Suzie Burke, both of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Jordanne and Mara Zuckerman of Ottawa, and Meagan (Bryon) Besse of Ottawa; and three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, William, and Bryson Besse.  Marcia leaves two Brothers, Paul and Jim Baker, both of Ottawa.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marcia was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.  She was a member of St. Columba Church in Ottawa.
