MARSEILLES - Mace Mullins, Jr., age 36, of Marseilles, passed away at 11:46 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2009 at Morris Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pall bearers will be Michael Mullins, Todd Lewis, Ronald Walter, Pat Rogalla, Aaron Woodyer, and Dennis Foutch. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Blue, Brent Highland, and Mike Anderson. Macel Boyd Mullins, Jr. was born January 1, 1973 at Mullens, West Virginia, a son of Macel and Georgia (Beavers) Mullins. He married Andrea Teausant May 5, 2006 in Belize. He is survived by his wife, Andrea; two daughters, Lily and Emily; his parents, Macel and Georgia Mullins of Sugar Grove; a brother, Michael (Holly) Mullins of Yorkville and a sister, Sheila (Todd) Lewis of Yorkville. He also leaves his wife's parents, Terry and Jean Teausant and Denise and John Warren. Mace was preceded in death by his grandparents. Mace was a member of Lebanon Full Gospel Church in Aurora. He had been employed at Independence Tube Mill in Marseilles for 13 years. Mace enjoyed lawn mower racing, NASCAR and country music, particularly George Strait. He was a super husband, dad, son and brother and will be deeply missed. Memorial contributions may be directed to a fund for Lily and Emily in care of Financial Plus Credit Union.
