Louise R. Walsh

Louise R. Walsh, 95, of Ottawa, died Wednesday, March 21, at Pleasant View Luther Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at Noon Friday at St. Columba Catholic Church with the Rev. David Kipfer as the celebrant. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday morning at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Mrs. Walsh was born August 13, 1911, in Ottawa, to Fred L. and Martha (Jacobson) Rude. She married Thomas P. Walsh on January 15, 1931, in Chicago. He died November 15, 1973. She is survived by two sons, Tom (Peg) and Bill (Phyllis) both of Ottawa; six grandchildren, Greg of Chicago, Kathleen (Joe) Sutton of Indianapolis, Ind., Tom (Mabel) of Middleburg, Virg., Pat (Tonya) of Riviera Beach, Fla., Bill (Susie) of Ottawa and Jeanne (Lee) Maen of Los Angeles; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and George Rude; and two sisters, Bernice Carr and Felicia Harrington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either St. Columba Catholic Church, Marquette High School or Pleasant View Luther Home.
