Linda Lee Godwin

Linda Lee Godwin, 47, of Ottawa, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. Tracy Johnson officiating. Cremation will be accorded. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Godwin was born March 14, 1960 in Rochelle, Ill., to Hubert and Sandra Caughron. She was married to Raymon Dean Godwin on September 16, 1977 in Rockford, Ill. She was a nurse's aid. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Rachel Godwin of Killeen, TX, a sister, Terri Mulvaney of Kimmundy, Ill., her father, of Rockford, Ill. and a step-mother, Doris Caughron; two brothers, Robert Caughron of Colorado Springs, Colo., Brian of Rockford; two sisters, Lisa and Heather both of Rockford. She was preceded in death by her mother and two brothers, Richard and Russell. Memorials may be directed to the family.
