Lawrence B. "Larry" Eich

OGLESBY – Lawrence B. “Larry” Eich, 68, of Oglesby, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Saturday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Reverend David Kipfer officiating. Interment will be in St. Columba Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Larry was born December 1, 1943 in Ottawa, Illinois, a son of John and Margaret (Cunningham) Eich. He is survived by a brother, Gerald A. (Joan) Eich of Ottawa; sisters, Mary Hall and Catherine Hicks both of Ottawa; as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas and Joseph Eich.
Larry was a member of St. Columba Church. He was a retired employee of J&L Steel in Hennepin. Larry enjoyed following sports in general and was a devoted Dallas Cowboy fan. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Kidney Foundation.
