Larry A. Saager

RUTLAND TOWNSHIP – Larry A. Saager, age 62, of Rutland Township, passed away Friday morning, June 19, 2015, at his home. Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date. Gladfelter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Larry was born July 21, 1952 in Ottawa, the son of Harold and Geraldine (Fisher) Saager. He married Kathy McMichael June 16, 1978 in Grundy County. Surviving are his wife, Kathy, of Rutland Township; one son, Chad (Kelly) Frye of New Raymer, CO; two sisters, Bonnie (Earl) Vernoy of Ottawa and Marianne (John) Gulbronson of Lambertville, MI; three grandchildren, Brody, Shelby, and Belle Frye; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army from August 1972 to August 1975.. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed cooking. Larry was a devoted husband and dearly loved his dogs.
