Lance Berry

Lance M. Berry, 23, of Ottawa, formerly of Streator, died Tuesday, February 13, at Community Hospital of Ottawa. Funeral services will be at 12 o'clock noon Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Cremation will be accorded. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church. Gladfelter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Berry was born March 30, 1983, in Streator, to Russell and Melissa (Berry) Shepherd. He attended Streator Township and Ottawa Township High Schools. He is survived by his parents; a daughter, Zaylynn Minkler of Ottawa; a brother, Jaleel Berry of Ottawa; his grandmother, Constance Berry of Streator; five aunts, Belinda Baugh, Shirley, Williams and Karen Berry all of Streator, Joyce Berry of Peoria and Dianne McKinney of Woodstock, Geo.; four uncles, Sanford Berry, Jr., Raymond (Cathy) Berry both of Streator, Warren Berry of Jackson, Mich. and Lewis (Renee) Berry of Freeport, Ill. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sanford Berry. Pallbearers will be Jordan Williams, Shane Crawford, Lewis Duncan, Donavon Burnley, William Zimmerman, Tevin Berry, Tyler Berry and Esteban Frias. Memorials may be directed to the family.
