Kathy L. (Beard) O'Shea Klingerman

OTTAWA – Kathy L. O’Shea Klingerman, age 55, of Ottawa, passed away unexpectedly at her home Saturday, August 3, 2013.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 8 at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. David Daniel officiating.  Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Kathy was born July 29, 1958 a daughter of James and Gloria (Stohr) Beard.  She is survived by her mother, Gloria Beard of Ottawa: her children, Jeremiah (Cheri) Brewer, Joseph (Kimberly) Brewer, Kelly (William) Kanellis and Kylie O’Shea all of Ottawa.  She also leaves grandchildren, Noah, Miah, Lillian, Brody and Lucy Brewer, Addison and Gunner Kanellis, Damian and Harmony Morgan; sisters, Sandra Syverson of Tonica, Barb Waddell of Ottawa and Gloria “Gigi” Elmallakh of Frisco, Texas; and her significant other, Daniel O’Shea of Ottawa.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Kathy had many creative talents.  She possessed a pride and passion for growing flowers and plants.  Creating something beautiful is what she enjoyed most.  She had a special connection to children and animals that brought her love and compassion.
