OTTAWA – Kathleen Sluder, age 95, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016.
Funeral services will be held Noon Tuesday, February 16th at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Marseilles. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ed, Glenn, Larry, Glenn Jr., Ryan, and Evan Mann.
Kathleen was born April 4, 1920 in Elkhorn, Kentucky to Lymon and Julia (Dabney) Cox. She married Troy Sluder in November of 1977. He preceded her in death September 2, 1996. Surviving are three sons, Glenn (Janet) Mann of Ottawa, Edward Mann of Ransom and Larry Paul (Jackie) Mann of Morris, twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Roseleen Lowe of Ottawa and Eveleen Coates of Princeton. She was preceded in death by a son, James Arnold Mann, two brothers, John and Donald Cox; and a sister, Stella Hayes.
A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Kathleen also greatly enjoyed fishing.
