Justin Grieves

VERONA - Justin Grieves, 28, of Verona, passed away at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Ottawa. Interment services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Brandon and Jason Grieves, Jeremy Lewis, Gary, Jordan and Nathan Budach, Don Houseman and Josh Fleetwood. Justin was born in Streator, Illinois on September 14, 1981, a son of Larry and Sherry (Lewis) Grieves. He is survived by his parents of Verona; one brother, Scott (Terri) Grieves of Marseilles; two sisters, Melissa Lewis Grieves of Ottawa and Victoria Grieves of Verona; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher, Chloe, Adrian and Robert Grieves and Shane Larson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Eleanor Sampson-Lewis and Christopher and Shirley Westcott-Grieves; and his brother, Christopher. Justin was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Seneca. He had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Other hobbies included fishing and hunting as he loved time spent outdoors. Justin cherished his nieces and nephews and was well loved by those whose lives he touched. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
