OGLESBY – Joshua Lee Scaman, age 38, of Oglesby, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
Memorial services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. till service time on Friday at the funeral home.
Joshua was born January 26, 1977 in Ottawa, the son of Raymond and Ronea (Meredith) Scaman. He is survived by his fiancé, Amanda Milton of Oglesby; his children, Cheyenne Smith of Granville and Ethan and Caleb Scaman of Oglesby; his grandchildren, Marley Poole of Oglesby and Aayliah Sosa of Granville; his sister, Candi Scaman Fuller of La Salle; his step daughters, Allie and Rachel Milton of Oglesby; a niece, Kira Fuller of La Salle; a nephew, William Fuller of Mattoon; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Joshua was a truck driver for CIMCO Recycling. He was a mechanic and enjoyed working on his motorcycles and wheeling. Memorial contributions for a scholarship fund for Ethan and Caleb may be directed to Gladfelter Funeral Home.
