Jim Peddicord

Jim Peddicord, age 68, of Ottawa, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Ottawa Pavilion.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Reverend Duane Kaufman officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Grand Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. till service time Thursday at the funeral home.

Jim was born June 13, 1948 in Ottawa, the son of Clifford Adelbert and Catherine Adaire (Sutton) Peddicord.  He married Susan Floor June 25, 1983 in Marseilles.  Surviving are his former wife, Susan Ross, of Franklin, TN; his son, Curt Peddicord (Matthew Cook) of Naperville, IL; stepsons, Christopher (Valerie) Ott of Bartlett, IL and Carey (Lori) Ott of Nashville, TN; one brother, Clifford A. Peddicord of Kenosha, WI; and one sister, Mary Susan (Jerry) Steinhower of Boca Raton, FL.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, John Dean and Robert C. Peddicord.

Jim served his country honorably in the United States Navy.  He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Marseilles where he taught Sunday school.  He was also an avid Chicago Bears fan.
