OTTAWA - Jill "Jilliebean" Campbell, 49, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Reverend Seymour Halford officiating. Private family interment will be in DeBolt Cemetery, Wedron. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Paul Campbell, Josh Daniels, Mike Woods, Rick Copeland, Ed Timm and Ken Greer. Jill was born February 18, 1962 in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of Paul and Edith (Heorly) Appelt. She married Jeffery S. Campbell August 14, 1987 in Aurora, Illinois. He survives. Other survivors include her father, Paul, of Tom's River, New Jersey; a son, Paul Campbell of Grand Ridge; a daughter, Jocelyn Campbell, of Ottawa; a stepdaughter, Emilee Campbell of Ottawa; four brothers, Dennis Appelt of Old Bridge, New Jersey, Dave Appelt of Barnagatte, New Jersey, Paul Appelt of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and Peter Appelt of Long Island, New York; two sisters, Joyce Simmonson of Staten Island, New York and June Ledell of Bethany, Connecticut; two grandchildren, Kayte and John Rousonelos; and several nieces and nephews. Her mother preceded her in death. Jill was a member of the Wedron United Methodist Church. She was also a member of A.B.A.T.E. Jill was a sports enthusiast, being an avid football fan of the New York Giants and the Chicago Bears as well as an avid baseball fan of the New York Yankees. She also enjoyed a passion for cooking.
