Janet R. (Wanserski) Kluck

OTTAWA – Janet R. Kluck, age 85, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday night, July 26, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning, July 31 st , at St. Columba Catholic Church with Reverend David M. Kipfer celebrating. Burial will follow at St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Timothy and Adam Boersma, Robert Gebbia, Jr., Michael and Daniel Gillette, and Patrick Murnighan. Honorary pallbearer will be Samuel Boersma.
Janet was born May 16, 1929 in Rosholt, Wisconsin, the daughter of Victor and Regina (Woyak) Wanserski. She married Jerry Kluck October 20, 1952 at Sacred Heart Church in Polonia, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death September 20, 2002. She is survived by three daughters, Donna Gebbia of Burbank, IL, Barbara (Sam) Boersma of Mokena, and Kathy (Dan) Gillette of Ottawa; two sisters, Lorraine Swarthout of Milwaukee, WI and Rita (Fred) Hoppa of Port Charlotte, FL; eight grandchildren, Dawn Murnighan, Robert Jr. and Kimberly Gebbia, Timothy, Adam, and Lauren Boersma, and Lisa and Michael Gillette; and seven great grandchildren, Samantha Gebbia, Emma, Molly, and Dennis Murnighan III, and Joshua, Annabelle, and June Boersma. She was preceded in death by two daughters in infancy; two brothers, Edward and Lawrence Wanserski; and one sister, Marie Wroblewski.
Janet was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church. In her leisure time she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and cooking. Her most cherished times were those spent caring for her grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Columba Building Fund or VITAS Hospice.
