Jamie Lynn Zimmerman

Jamie Lynn Zimmerman, 30, of Rockford, formerly of Ottawa, died Thursday, April 19th at home in Rockford. Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. Kris Zierke of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Seneca officiating. Cremation will be accorded. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Miss Zimmerman was born March 21, 1977, in Ottawa, to Waldo S. Zimmerman and Cindy L. (McMullen) Cummings. She graduated with the class of 1995 at Ottawa Township High School. She graduated from Kishwaukee Junior College in Malta, Ill. She attended Mt. St. Clare College in Clinton, Iowa. She was employed at Community Care Giver Home in De Witt, Iowa. She moved to Rockford three years ago to be with her parents. She is survived by her parents; her stepfather, Ronald Cummings; three sisters, Jacki (Tom) Salzman of Ottawa, Amy (Dave) Mc Intire of Grandville, Ill., Stacy Beard of Rockford; a step-sister, Kim Cummings of Kankakee; a step-brother, Kevin (Cara) Cummings of Wedron; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thomas John and Dorothy McMullen and her paternal grandparents Garner and Ada Davis. Memorials may be directed to the family.
