James "Jim" Tintori

OTTAWA – James “Jim” Tintori, of Ottawa, age 64, passed away on Tuesday morning, June 28, 2016 at his home in Georgia.
Memorial service and visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, evening, July 13 2016 at Gladfelter Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Jim was born on July 19, 1951 in Ottawa, IL, a son of Joseph and Rosalie (Rivasi) Tintori. A “Jack of all trades”, Jim worked in a number of professions including construction, roofing, machine shop, and maintenance. Some of his favorite hobbies were restoring old cars, woodworking, and fishing. Jim is survived by his daughter, Sarah Russell, of Riverside, CA and his son, Nick Tintori, of Streator, IL. He also leaves a brother, Joe (Barbara) Tintori of Montgomery, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William “Bill” Tintori.
After retiring, he moved to Georgia, where he lived out his rustic dream of being surrounded by nature and away from the busyness of modern life.
