James F. Delehanty

James F. Delehanty, age 63, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday evening, February 22, 2020 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 28th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home with Reverend John Nordstrom officiating.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Friday.

Jim was born July 13, 1956 in Joliet, Illinois, a son of Stanley and Beverly (Ruff) Delehanty.  He married Barbara Fillmore July 25, 2015 in Aurora, Illinois.  Surviving are his wife, Barbara; a son, Russell (Angela) Delehanty of Marseilles; step-daughters, Tiffeny Swift of St. Louis, MO and Brittany Swift of Newport, TN.  He also leaves grandchildren, Adlei Delehanty, Autumn and Gage Miller; step-grandchildren, Caroline Swift, Damon Springmeyer, Marky, Emily and Reagan Ruiz; and a brother, Charles Delehanty.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim was employed by Tangent Technologies, LLC in Aurora.  He enjoyed car racing and going to car shows and antiques.  He dearly loved his family by whom he will be greatly missed.
