Grace Margaret Clifford

Grace Margaret Clifford, 97, of Ottawa, formerly of Dayton, died Thursday, June 22, 2006, at Community Hospital of Ottawa. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. James Crone of the Epworth United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be Dayton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the time of services. Mrs. Clifford was born January 25, 1909, in Ottawa, to Ralph A. and Ruth (Haight) Green. She married Charles Willard Clifford on June 26, 1937. He died December 25, 2002. She is survived by two daughters Candace Wilmot of Urbana, and Sally (Richard) Berner of Heyworth; two granddaughters, Tracy Berner of Bloomington, Ill. and Laurel (Chris) Sims of Plainfield; and two great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth L. Green; and a sister, Ruth M. Eichenberger. Memorials may be directed to Heritage Woods of Ottawa.
