Evelyn M. (Higgins) Learned

Evelyn M. (Higgins) Learned, age 64, of Bangor, Michigan, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Bangor.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 14th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in DeBolt Cemetery, Wedron.  Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Evelyn was born June 9, 1955 in Ottawa, Illinois, a daughter of Allen and Nellie (Thompson) Higgins.  Surviving are her children, James (Sheri) Higgins of Ottawa, Matthew Viner of Kalamazoo, MI and Jerome Hauck of Peoria; and grandchildren, Ashley (Nate) Smith and Kelsey (William) Hughes.  She also leaves brothers, Allen Higgins, Jr., Patrick Higgins and Stanley (Rose) Higgins all of Ottawa.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kevin Higgins; a brother, Tom Higgins, Sr.; and a sister, Pat Eich.

Evelyn was a member of New Life Fellowship in Ottawa.  She enjoyed sewing, shopping and listening to the music of Jimmy Swaggert.  She treasured the time spent with family and will be dearly missed.
