LEBANON, IN - Elizabeth A. "Liz" Sparks, age 54, of Lebanon, Indiana, formerly of Ottawa, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Sunday February 7, 2010 at Lebanon, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday at Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church with Pastor Tim Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time at the church. Gladfelter Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Liz was born February 20, 1955 at Ottawa, Illinois, a daughter of Edward and Anna (Planika) Hawkins. She married James E. "Jim" Sparks April 8, 1989 at St. Columba Church in Ottawa. She is survived by her husband, Jim and son Treavor of Lebanon, Indiana; and a niece, Melanie Haff of Morris, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jennifer Hunt. Liz was of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed movies, animals and reading. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
