Edith L. Johnson

Edie Johnson, age 73, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Edie was born November 20, 1950 in Aurora, Illinois to Dale and Viola Aldrich. She is survived by three sons, Corey (Cindy) Johnson, Chad Johnson and Matthew Mason; grandchildren, Vincent Johnson, Miranda (Hunter) Brennan, Sasha Willits and Lincoln Mason; and two great-grandchildren, Cain and Catalaya. She also leaves a brother, Perry Aldrich. Edie was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Samantha Johnson Zitoun and five brothers.

Edie had been a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Aurora and retired as a clerk for Burlington Northern Railroad. Edie enjoyed reading and spending time with her loving family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 11th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
