Donna Lou Lawrence

OTTAWA – Donna Lou Lawrence, age 63, of Ottawa, passed away at 6:59 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with her loving family at her side

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 20 ^th at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor David Daniel officiating.  Cremation rites will follow.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Gladfelter Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. till the service begins Tuesday at the church.

Donna was born April 12, 1952 in LaSalle, Illinois, a daughter of Otto and Darlene (Anderson) Kleckner.  She married Daniel W. Lawrence May 29, 1971 at the First Congregational Church in Ottawa.  Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Daniel of Ottawa; her children, Jason (Alicia) Lawrence of Loves Park, Jeff (Carie) Lawrence of Peru, Danielle Lawrence and Jarod (Ashley) Lawrence all of Ottawa.  She also leaves her mother, Darlene Kleckner of Tennessee; brothers, Russell (Debbie) Kleckner of Ottawa, Vince (Rita) Kleckner of Minnesota, Miles (Jean) Kleckner of Ottawa and Chris (Char) Kleckner of Tennessee; sisters, Marilyn (Tom) Willis of Tonica and Karen (Mark) Truty of Ottawa; and ten grandchildren, Erica, Alex, Devon, Cody, Steven, Ty, Beau, Ben, Brock and Elizabeth.  She was preceded in death by her father, Otto Kleckner who she loved dearly.

Donna was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.  She loved arts and crafts and watching her garden become beautiful.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
