OTTAWA – Donna Jean Williams, age 73, of Ottawa, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Private family services will be held. There will be no visitation.
Donna was born October 22, 1938 in Ottawa, a daughter of Thomas and Eva (Midnight) Farrell. She married Raymond E. Williams on August 10, 1957 in Pontiac, Illinois. Surviving are her husband, Raymond, of Ottawa; her children, Debra (Parker) Hall of Ottawa and Denise (Dave) Alteri of Hollowayville, IL; her grandchildren, Ashley and Phillip Watland, David and Joseph Alteri, and Charles and John Znaniecki; and her great granddaughter, Olivia Znaniecki. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gloria Jean and her brothers and sisters, Noreen, Ella Mae, Stella, Wilma, Carolann, Howard, Glenn, Thomas, Arthur and Minerva.
Donna was the Activity Director at the La Salle County Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Ottawa. Also, she was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Above all, she enjoyed the time spent with her family whom she cherished.
