Donald L. Wireman, Sr., 69, of Ottawa, died Saturday, November 18, 2006, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park with full military honors. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Wireman was born August 28, 1937, in Ottawa, to Delores Lemke. He was in the U. S. Navy and served some duties in Japan. He married Sharon Rose St. Aubin Ralrick October 23, 1965, in Ottawa. She died June 15, 1986. He was employed for 43 year for Ottawa Engine (Napa) Parts. He was a member of the Variety Riders Club. He is survived by a son, Donald, Jr. (Jennifer) of Ottawa; three daughters, Sharon (Francis) Terry of Ottawa, Tressa (William) Beers of Ottawa and Bonnie Phillips of Hammond Ind.; 14 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren; a brother, David Lemke of Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, a sister, Donna Lynn Hougas; and a great granddaughter, Hope Angel May Heiser. Pallbearers will be SSgt. Jason A. Heiser, Steven Rohde, Dean Anderson, Charles Simmons, Larry Hutchcraft, Jr. and Tony Rehor, Jr. Memorials may be directed to the family.
