Curtis Edward Galloway was born March 13, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Robert Russell and Virginia (Asher) Galloway. He married Sherry Hatfield October 15, 1960 in Wichita. Curt is survived by Sherry, his loving wife of 61 years; and children, Lori (Ed) Bertrand of Ottawa and Scott (Cathy) Galloway of Chanhassen, MN. He also leaves grandchildren, Mark (Sarah) Rochacz, Robert (Tammy) Rochacz, Michael Galloway and Shannon Galloway; great-grandchildren, Samuel and Isabella Rochacz; and a sister Patsy (Mark Miller) Allen of Grand Rapids, MI. His parents and a sister, Judy Floyd preceded him in death.

Curt was raised in the Methodist church but chose to “live his faith” by being a kind, compassionate, generous man who served as a mentor to many. He was the “go-to uncle” for his nieces and nephews. Curt co-founded and served as Treasurer for Family Credit Management Services from which he retired in 2017. He was an adventurous man who enjoyed boating and travel. Curt was an accomplished artist who created many beautiful sketches and watercolor paintings. Curt genuinely loved people, but mostly treasured his family. His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart.
