Charlotte R. Phipps, age 54, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at her home.
Celebration of Life services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24th at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Reverend Luella R. Loveless officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Charlotte was born May 10, 1962 in Peru, Illinois, a daughter of Oscar Dempsey and Rev. Luella (Trout) Loveless. She is survived by her children, Jessy Fletcher of Arkansas, Daniel (Jessica) Fletcher of Ottawa, and Reba Phipps of Kentucky; grandchildren, Bradley, Logan, and Presley Marie Fletcher and Landon Cole; her mother, Rev. Luella R. Loveless; brothers, Oscar Dempsey Loveless, Jr. of Tennessee and David Loveless of Ottawa; and a sister Debra Loveless of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Dempsey.
Charlotte was a member of River of Life Warriors In Training Ministry, Pentecostal Church of God. She worked at Krogers North J704 in Ottawa for many years where she developed many friendships. Her greatest treasure was raising her family and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She will be missed very dearly.
