Charlotte Hagie

Charlotte Hagie, age 89, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Wangler officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till service time Saturday at the funeral home. Charlotte was born October 6, 1919 at Joliet, Illinois, a daughter of William and Florence (Gill) Greenly. She married George "Bud" West who preceded her in death July 4, 1961. She later married Howard E. Hagie. She is survived by a daughter, Annette Rodriguez of Ottawa; two sons, Edward (Rose) West of Ottawa and Terry L. West of Lengby, Minnesota. She also leaves several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, David West and Daniel Valle; a daughter, Carmen Johnson and one brother, William Greenly. Charlotte dearly loved her family, particularly her grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. She was an avid Cubs fan. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
