Carol Ann Christian

Carol Ann Christian, 78, of Ottawa, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Per Carol's wishes, there will be no services and cremation rites will be accorded.

Carol was born on August 16, 1946 in Ottawa, the daughter of Ray and Laura (Nangle) Spradling. She attended Ottawa schools and went on to be a housekeeper at various jobs around town until ultimately ending her career at OSF Saint Elizabeth. She was married to William Christian for many years until his passing. She then met her long time companion, Michael Tinker, and they have been together ever since. In her spare time, Carol liked feeding the wildlife, tending to her flowers, and taking care of her cats that she loved so much. She was kind and gentle and had a heart of gold. She was always willing to help out in any way that she could. She loved her family and enjoyed the time spent with them. She will be dearly missed.

Carol is survived by her long time companion, Michael Tinker; sister, Mary Rhode; sister in law, Bonnie Spradling; nieces, Lori, Jenny, Lacey, Shannon, Katrina, Sara, Amelie, Chelsea, Cali, and Lisa; nephews, Tim, Joe, Jason, and Jameson, along with several cousins and her furry babies. She was preceded in death by a stepson, William Christian Jr.; a brother, Raymond Spradling; and a great nephew, Taylor Rasmussen.
