Beverly J. (Casemier) Goldman

Beverly J. Goldman, 77, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Ottawa Pavilion.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22nd at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Pastor David Davies officiating.  Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Beverly was born September 20, 1936 in Grand Haven, Michigan a daughter of John and Jessena (Ver Duin) Casemier.  She married Byford N. “Byf” Goldman, Jr. May 6, 1960 at Grand Haven, Michigan.  He preceded her in death November 17, 2013.  Surviving is a son, Dr. Bryant “Pete” (Bernadine) Goldman of Tucson, Arizona; and grandchildren, Marissa A. and Patrick J. Goldman also of Tucson.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Abe and Jay Casemier.

Beverly was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ottawa.  She was the first female bus driver for the Ottawa Elementary School District.  Bev was an avid Cub fan.  She dearly enjoyed time spent with her family showing horses.   Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
